Join Julie Lazerwitz for a relaxing yoga practice at Giving Gardens of Indiana!
She begins your practice with simple meditation, breathing exercises and grounding, so students are able to still themselves and focus on awareness. Progressing to basic stretches helps prepare the body for movement and holds. Sun salutations, standing postures(balancing), backbends, inversions, twists and more will be part of our practice, experimenting as we go along. The final pose will be Savasana along with singing bowls used to promote stillness and well being.
Each class is different, and students are encouraged to make it their own personal experience. Come join her and discover the many benefits that yoga has to offer!
Please Bring your own yoga mat, water, blanket and any other props you may want.
Julie’s Bio:
After completing my 200 hour yoga teacher training certification in 2017, I have experienced the many benefits that yoga can offer. I have now been guiding yoga practice for over 4 years.
The physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga have had an incredible impact on my life. For me, yoga is not only about the practice itself, but also about understanding and perfecting the ways we interact with others, our environment, and how we deal with daily burdens. My passion is to share these positive experiences with anyone who seeks them through yoga.
I teach to all levels of yoga. Having no expectations of my students, I honor every individual for where they are on their journey in discovery.
